The New Brunswick Sailing Team (NBST) exists to provide support for New
Brunswick’s athletes who are working towards improving sailing / racing
skills, and competing on a provincial, regional or national level. The goal
of the New Brunswick Sailing Team is to improve New Brunswick Sailing’s
capability to develop sailors into excellent racers, and for New Brunswick’s
top competitive sailors, to achieve recognized athletic excellence. The New
Brunswick Sailing Team (NBST) is typically comprised of 10-20 athletes of
varying skill levels. Members of the New Brunswick sailing team must attend
scheduled on-water training sessions and provincial circuit regattas. NBST
Members will be provided on and off water coaching at NBSA scheduled
training and pre-selected competition events.
For the current sailing season, New Brunswick Sailing Team members must compete in one of the following classes; 29er, 420, Byte, CII, Laser, Laser Radial, and Optimist.
